At POHP, we’re a place of safety, healing, and transformation—for animals and humans alike. To thrive we must provide our animals with enough fresh grass or hay throughout the year. At present we have only been able to fence around a third of our available pasture land. This means the existing feed areas are badly overgrazed, resulting in the need to buy hay year round, rather than just in the winter when the grassed areas are covered in snow.
